You haven't heard my side yet!
There once was a little dwarf sized man, that was roaming the castle, when he heard someone wailing. The little man followed the crying to a door, he opened the door to find a beautiful maiden. He said “Good evening, fair maiden; why do u weep so much?” “Ah” she replied “I must spin this straw into gold, and I am sure I do not know how”
So the little man asked “What will you give me if I spin it for you”
“My necklace,” said the maiden.
A great deal the little man thought, so he took the necklace. Placed himself in front of the wheel, and whirr, whirr, whirr, three times round, and the bobbin was full. Then he set up another, and whirr, whirr, whirr, three times round again, and a second bobbin was full; and so he went all night long, until all the straw was spun and the bobbins were full of gold.
The next night the little man, was once again in the castle, when as before he heard the wailing again, just like the last time he went in and asked her what she would give him for his assistance. “The ring off my finger” she replied. The man thought that was a fair deal, so he took it, and began to spin at once, and by morning all the straw was turned to gold.
When he knew the maiden was alone, he went to her and asked “What will you give me to do this for you?”
“I have nothing left that I can give you” replied the maiden.
“Then promise me your first-born child if you become Queen,” he said.
The maiden promised the man what he decided; and he immediately set about and finished the spinning, for he was overjoyed at the prospect of having a child, because he was a very lonely man.
A year had passed before the new queen had a child, the man waited until a few days after the birth to collect his payment. When the man arrived the Queen offered him all the riches of the kingdom if he would leave her child alone, but the dwarf sized man answered “No; something human is dearer to me than all the wealth of the world
The Queen began to weep and groan so much that the man pitied her, and said, I will leave you three days to consider; if you in that time discover my name you shall keep your child.
The following morning the dwarf went back to the castle, and the queen asked all kinds of name’s such as “Caspar,” “Melchior,” “Balthassar,” and all the odd names she knew; but at each the little man said “That is not my name.” The next day when the little man come back, the Queen called the Dwarf a lot of different name’s like “Ribs-of-Beef,” “Sheep-Shank,” “Whalebone,” but at each name he said “This is not my name.” The dwarf knew that the Queen would never guess his name, he was so happy that he ended up dancing around his fire while singing
“‘To-day I stew, and then I’ll bake,
To-morrow I shall the Queen’s child take;
Ah! how famous it is that nobody knows
That my name is Rumpelstiltskin.'”
The next day when the dwarf went back to the castle, he asked “Now my Queen what is my name?”
First she said, “Are you called Conrade?” “No”
“Are you called Hal” “No”
“Are you called Rumpelstiltskin”
“A witch has told you! A witch has told you” he shrieked, and he stamped his right foot so hard in the ground with rage that he could not pull it out again. Then he took hold of his left leg with both his hands, and pulled away so hard that his right came off in the struggle, and he hopped away howling terribly. And from that day on the little dwarf called Rumpelstiltskin never went back to the queen that cheated her way out of a deal.
The End

SEXXXY PARAGRAPHS
In Dragonheart medium close ups are used effectively. For instance, the director of dragonheart has used this shot so you can see that Brother Gilbert is about to shoot King Enion with an arrow. This shot shows that he is very concentrated and he also looks stressed. The purpose of this was to show the struggle between doing what is right and what you believe in and it is also to show the reaction of all the main characters when King Enion is shot and Draco (the dragon) drops down as if he was shot as well. This worked well with the dramatic music and this characters difficulty choosing what to do.This reminds me of earlier in the movie when King Enion is stabbed and we see Draco (the dragon) is in pain because of this.
Medium close ups were used effectively in dragonheart. For instance this shot shows us that Bowen is inside of Draco’s mouth with his sword stuck behind Draco’s teeth.Bowen looks very annoyed and we can also see that his face is covered in a slimy goo like substance. The purpose of this was to show the audience how much Draco and Bowen don’t like each other which will show that characters have grown, later on in the movie when they have a friendship together. You see this through out the movie, until the end where bowen has to kill draco. Which will then kill King Enion.
In Dragonheart close-ups are used effectively. This shot is used after when we see Draco die and turn into dust. This shows that Bowen is amazed and joyful. This was done to show us that Draco’s tale about dragon heaven is real. Combined with the music and his expression this scene worked really well. This reminds me of earlier in the movie when Draco was telling the audience his story about dragon heaven and how he wants to go there, but you have to earn a pace there by protecting mankind.
In Dragonheart long shots are used effectively. We see this when Draco and Bowen are riding across the hills together with the sunset behind them. This shot is after they have both decided that they should fight back against King Enion with the help of the villages. This shows that a bond has been formed between Draco and Bowen. The director did this to show the audience that there has been a change in the characters relationships. The dragon and Bowen will both convince the village that they should help them. The villager’s will also not longer be scared of Draco nor will they hurt him. This is important because earlier in the movie it was shown that the villagers were scared of Draco through out half of the movie.
What am i learning?
I learnt to write SEXXXY Paragraphs and explain about the shots and the scene.
How does this work show what i am learning?
This shows my learning because i know how to write SEXXXY Paragraphs.
What am i wondering?
I am wondering how difficult writing will get as I get older.
