Business Studies

For business studies, we had a market day. My group and made Brownies and Cupcakes 3 things i think went well was the baking, how much money we made and our communication as well as our cooperation.

3 things that didn't go well was our group not being prepared, we were rushing on the day and we also needed to make a new icing and there wasn't enough for all of our cupcakes.

3 things that i would change would be the group, the area that we were selling in and the product and i would be more organised.

Creative Writing Visual Prompts

Dodgy Tunnel.png

It honestly felt as though the tunnel went on forever, it was just turn after turn after turn and it made it worse that the walls all looked the same. With random pieces of graffiti placed on them. Just being there felt like I was in a horror movie. It reminded me of a zebra, because of the random flashes of light spread throughout the room; it was still too dark to see where the end was. It was so quiet that I could hear the water dripping from the roof onto the floor from miles away, at least it felt like miles. I really can’t be sure. All I could smell was rat droppings and mouldy sandwiches. That wasn’t the worst part though I could hear my own footsteps which did scare me at first because I didn't realise they were mine but now i know or at least i hope their mine. Plus there's also the fact that I don’t even remember how I ended up here in the first place, all I know I was woke up here alone. So I just started walking in a random direction, I’m deeply regretting that decision now though.

Persuasive Writing - The South Island is better than the North Island

Topic: The South Island is better than the North Island

The South Island is better than the North Island, personally i disagree with that statement because i think that they are both good and bad in their own ways. So neither is better than the other. Now I will explain why i believe that.

The North Island has more people so it most likely has bigger cities and more places to go to, but that also means that it's probably more crowded than the south island. So i guess the south island is better than the north island in that department.

In addition to the last statement both Islands have nice scenery although in my opinion the south island probably has better scenery because there's lots of country and and open areas, assuming that the north island doesn't, i mean how would i know. But then again if the north island has more cities then that's also nice scenery. So they both have nice scenery just depends on what the person likes really.

The north island has better roads than the south island so that's a win for them i guess,

Persuasive Writing

Do you think crocodiles are a safety risk to humans and should be trapped and destroyed when found near urban areas? Because i don't think that at all.

Sure crocodiles could hurt someone but if you think about it anything could really. I mean you could be crossing the street and get hit by a bus, but that's unlikely. What I'm trying to say is just because something could hurt you doesn't mean it will. And if we're gonna kill something just because if could hurt someone does that mean we're just gonna kill people? Because honestly humans are a big safety risk to themselves.

Also it seems dumb to me that crocodiles would be killed just for being near an area when you have no proof that they hurt anyone. Basically you would be killing the crocodile for just being alive which is absolutely disgusting in my opinion. And if that was the case then it be animal cruelty. It would be like if you went for a walk and happened to go near a certain area and were killed because of it, that would not be allowed at all. So why should it be allowed for crocodiles? just because their not people doesn't mean that they don't deserve to live.

Are we going to be doing the same thing to other animals or just crocodile's? is also a question i have because I'm sure there's animals that are a bigger safety risk to humans than crocodiles. Now i'm not saying its okay to do this if its happening to other animals, I'm saying that it shouldn't be happening to any animals even if they could potentially hurt someone. It's just not the right way to go about things.

Orphism or Orphic Cubism, a term coined by the French poet Guillaume Apollinaire in 1912, was an offshoot of Cubism that focused on pure abstraction and bright colours, influenced by Fauvism, the theoretical writings of Paul Signac, Charles Henry and the dye chemist Eugène Chevreul.

Sonia Terk Delaunay:
Raised in St. Petersburg, she moved to Paris in 1905. With her husband, she developed orphism, a movement that strove for the harmonious mixture of colours.
